In MLB The Show 23, equipment can be used to give your ball player extra stat boosts for their players. Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond equipment are the options when trying to give your ballplayer boosts.
For years, fans may have been thinking they have been putting on equipment, when really it is just the cosmetics of the equipment and they are not putting on any boosts at all. Sometimes, the equipment will reset on its own when changing between ballplayers. But fear not, here is a handy list of things to do to make sure you always have your equipment boosts on.
- Open the player profile screen
- Select the ballplayer
- Scroll down until Playstyle > Equipment
- Choose the desired equipment piece
